Hello, Crossroads Family!
Lots of good things going on at Crossroads! God is answering prayers and growing us as His people. Very exciting! Thanks to everyone who is a part of living out the life of the church! I hope you can make it out tonight for the first session of the new season of Immerse – 7:00 at the church. We’ll start with some singing, then divide up into discussion groups. It’s going to be a good and, I believe, life-changing study.
Coming up …
Immerse tonight, 7 pm. Reading assignment is pp A15 – 39, the book of Joshua.
Prayer, worship, and children’s classes this Sunday.
We’ll worship at 10:00 Sunday morning. If you would like to meet with a few others for prayer prior to the service, there will be a room open for prayer led by Catherine at 9:00am. In addition to our regular 0-7 year-olds children’s church, the 8-13 year-old group will meet with Emily Lewis during the sermon, for all who are interested.
Thank you!
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Baby Bottle Boomerang, and thanks to Kim Reedy for organizing that effort for us! Thanks to our Decorating Team for the new chairs in the prayer room, and for the new desk in the office space.
Welcome!
We welcome Bobbie Barbour “officially” as a voting member of the church at Crossroads! We’re grateful to God that Bobbie is in our lives!

Prayer needs
We praise God that some who have been sick are feeling better. However, there are many needs in our church — some are relational, others are work-related, family-related, and spiritual. David and Midge ask that we pray for the nurse at the VA office in Nevada who has a heavy load with the VA being short-handed. Certainly we need to pray for the students, teachers, bus drivers, and coaches in our schools ; for those who are homeschooling ; for our city leaders, business leaders, pastors and other churches in Nevada ; for Cottey College, Crowder College, the Welding Institute, and beyond. Let’s not forget the ministries of our missionaries, as well – in Paris; in Berlin; and in Chicago. Thanks for being involved in the community and in the world. Thanks for praying!
