Hello, Crossroads Family!
I hope everyone is having a blessed week so far! I hope that if you’re in town Sunday, we’ll see you at worship at 10:00. I’m looking forward to a special time together, including Communion. Thanks to worship teams, greeters, children’s workers, cleaners, mowers, bulletin preparers, refreshment providers, and more who make Sunday mornings a special time.
It’s hard to believe it was nine years ago this week that I arrived in Nevada with a 10th-grader, 8th-grader, and 6th-grader in tow! It was an exciting day, and some of you were there to help unload a trailer and provide hungry people with pizza! Thanks for blessing us all these years. I’m excited about what lies ahead for us … and am grateful for what each one does to bless all the others at Crossroads Church!
Thanks for the wonderful outpouring of offers to help with dinner at Kamp Keirsey Sunday, the 21st. I’ll be in touch with you to make sure you have what you need for your part of the meal. Dinner is at 6:00 at the camp; if there are those who want to caravan or carpool, plan to be at the church at 4:00 that day.
We have three individuals being baptized at the conclusion of the morning worship service on the 21st. I hope you’ll join us to celebrate this step in their journey with the Lord. At the conclusion of our regular worship service, we’ll make the short drive from the church to David & Heather Vestal’s home where we’ll use their swimming pool for the baptisms.
Continue to pray for Kourtnee Vestal in your camp ministry with CentriKids Camps in the Southeastern U.S. We look forward to having Donna Rodriguez back with us soon; pray for Donna as she gets nearer to the finish of her East Coast bicycle ride!
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness by night. — Psalm 92:1-2
