Tom’s Midweek Greeting
Crossroads Community Church
Nevada MO
This hymn was part of my worship this morning. If you know the melody, you can sing it as a prayer. If you don’t know the melody, it’s a great prayer to be prayed anyway!
O to be like Thee, blessed Redeemer,
This is my constant longing and prayer.
Gladly I’ll forfeit all of earth’s treasures,
Jesus, Thy perfect likeness to wear.
O to be like Thee, full of compassion,
Loving, forgiving, tender and kind.
Helping the helpless, cheering the fainting,
Seeking the wandering sinner to find.
O to be like Thee, while I am pleading,
Pour out Thy Spirit, fill with Thy love.
Make me a temple fit for Thy dwelling,
Fit me for life and heaven above.
O to be like Thee! O to be like Thee,
Blessed Redeemer, pure as Thou art!
Come in Thy sweetness, come in Thy fullness —
Stamp Thine own image deep on my heart.
This Sunday morning we’ll learn more about our blessed Redeemer and what He’s like. We’ll finish up our short sermon series on “Jesus, friend of tax-collectors and sinners,” by taking a look at the story of Jesus and Zaccheus in Luke 19. I hope you’ll join the church family for good worship and spiritual refreshment! It’s Palm Sunday — a great time to celebrate the King!
10:00 this Sunday at the Osage Prairie YMCA. See you there! As always, the sermon will be posted on Facebook by Saturday evening.

I’m looking forward to having several of you in my home on Friday, April 2, at 6 pm for a Passover Seder meal. A fun and meaningful time is in store!
Youth Group, March 31, 6:30 pm
All young people 16 years old and up are invited to a time of food, fellowship, and encouragement next Wednesday evening, the 31st, at 6:30 at the Rodriguez home, *contact us for location*. If you have questions, contact Ryan, Jessica, Forrest, or the Rods.
We can trust Him!
Jesus said, “I hold the keys of death and Hades” (Revelation 1:18). The one who holds the keys controls things. The Lord controls the future; we can trust Him !
See you this Sunday!
